Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a color filter which prevents the decrease in color separating power and the damage in a coloring layer by forming a pattern mask consisting of chalcogen glass via the coloring layer on a base plate and removing selectively the colored layer. CONSTITUTION:A coloring layer 2 is formed on a base plate 1. The layer 2 is formed preferably by vapor deposition of color material in particular. A patterned mask 4 obtd. by forming a chalcogen glass layer 3 on the coloring layer 2 then exposing said glass layer with UV light, farultraviolet light, X-ray or electron ray to a prescribed pattern shape and further subjecting the layer to washing and a treatment with a weak alkali soln. or gaseous halogenated hydrocarbon is formed on said layer 3. Said layer is then etched by using gas consisting essentially of oxygen in a dry etching device to form a color element 6. The mask 4 is removed by an etching method, etc. The same process may be performed with a desired color material in the case of forming the 2nd color element.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable recording with less decrease in resolving power, by disposing a light source which emits a light signal like stripes to a photosensitive layer of the constitution wherein a striped photoconductive layer and a striped insulation layer are arranged alternately so as to face said photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive member is made into the constitution wherein a striped photoconductive layer 2 and a striped insulation layer 3 are arranged alternately on a substrate 1 and a surface insulation layer 4 is formed on said layers. A striped light source 12, for example, a light source consisting of a semiconductor laser, is provided on the layer 2 of the photoreceptor constituted in such a way in tight contact with said layer. Then, the distance between the light source and the photoreceptor is not longer than the case in which the striped photoreceptor is exposed by using an He-Ne laser, Ar layer or the like; therefore the deformation in the size of the exposing beam is obviated. Since an f-theta lens for correcting the beam diameter is eliminated, the cost is reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a color recording material capable of providing a stable image having high resolution at a low cost, by alternately aligning a thin linear light-transmitting photoconductive material and a thin linear insulating material in stripes, and overlaying a color separating filter on each photoconductive material. CONSTITUTION:A light-transmitting conductive layer 2 is formed on the surface of a light-transmitting support 1, and a photoconductive layer 3 and an insulating layer 4 are laminated on the layer 2. The thin and long photoconductive materials 32 and insulating materials 31 extending in the direction vertical to the paper are aligned alternately in a large number of rows. Red, green, and blue filters 5R, 5G, and 5B are arranged opposite to the materials 32 of the layer 3 in a large number of rows. The color recording material having said constitution does not permit excessive transfer of charge to adjacent regions by holding it by the presence of the insulating layer 4, and mixing of color toners governed by the layer 4, thus a color image high in resolution corresponding exactly to the dimensions of the stripes and optical signal beams can be obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a hard copy having a high quality at a high speed, by modulating a laser beam and scanning a photosensitive body consisting of an insulating layer to which corona discharge has been executed, a photoconductive layer and a conductive supporting body, in case of printing out graphic and character information from an electronic computer, etc. CONSTITUTION:A beam of a laser oscillator 1 is led to a modulator 3 through reflecting mirrors 21, 22. A beam detector 18 decides a start timing of a signal to the modulator 3. The surface of the photosensitive body 8 consists of a conductive supporting body, a photoconductive layer and an insulating layer, on which a primary corona charger 9 and a secondary corona charger 10 are provided, and a pattern based on a difference of the surface potential is formed in accordance with a bright and dark pattern of a laser beam 12. Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily perform adjustments of light beam scanning directions, by installing a keeping means which is to be fitted at an inclined angle to the direction correcting the inclination of the scanning line to the recording medium. CONSTITUTION:The whole optical system is placed on a bench, and the bench is obliquely set to a light sensitive drum so that the bench will be in the direction which correct the inclination of the scanning line. At four locations of the bench, screw tying holes into which bearings 23, etc., are fitted, are installed, and screws 24-27 are tied to each screw tying hole so that the screws may rotate freely and will not be removed from the bench. On the other hand, tying components 28-31 having female screws at locations corresponding to the location of each screw, are fixed to a substrate 21 of the equipment. The modulated data become light and dark patterns and the patterns are given to a light sensitive drum.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a color CRT having good brightness and residual image characteristic by laminating a colored layer containing pigment and a phosphor layer for emitting white light onto a substrate.
