The structural platform (11) of the vehicle comprises two tanks (T1) and (T2) for the storage on a vehicle of fluids under pressure. Each tank comprises at least one network of cells (2) connected to one another via orifices (3), the orifices being conformed so that the flow of fluid caused by the consumption of fluid necessary for the use of the vehicle exhibits only pressure drops which do not affect the said use, and being conformed so that, in the event of rupture of one or more cells (2), the leakage flow causes sufficiently large pressure drops to limit the flow thereof.

A system for steering a vehicle whereof steering of all the steerable wheels is controlled by an actuator specific thereto, the system having a controller which has at least a normal mode of operation in which, for each steerable wheel, the controller determines a set point for the normal steering angle and a degraded mode activated in the event of failure of a wheel actuator, in which the controller determines a compensating steering set point for a wheel.

The vehicle includes a suspended running chassis (1) making it possible to define a longitudinal and vertical plane forming a reference linked to the chassis (1), the preferred running direction being parallel to said longitudinal plane, and at least two wheel connecting systems, the wheels (2) of which are not aligned relative to said longitudinal plane, said wheel connecting systems being mounted on said chassis (1) on either side of the latter in the transverse direction, each of the wheel connecting systems comprising a wheel (2) mounted on a support (5) by means of a suspension device allowing vertical deflection of the wheel (2) relative to the support (5), said suspensions being independent of one another. Each support (5) is mounted on said chassis (1) by means of a camber mechanism which includes a camber lever (4) and a countergear (40) making it possible to vary the camber angle of the corresponding wheel (2). The camber mechanism comprises an arm (70) mounted on the support (5) an axis of support oriented substantially parallel to said longitudinal plane, and mounted on the chassis (1) without any possibility of tilting about a longitudinal axis relative to said chassis (1), so as to transmit the weight carried by the chassis to the support (5).

The vehicle having a chassis extending towards the front end of the vehicle where it has an impact zone and a cabin for the transport of passengers. The vehicle embodies a mechanical device for raising at least the front of the cabin relative to the chassis while the cabin moves forwards relative to the chassis in the event of an impact, the mechanical device including at least one rocker articulated to the chassis on the one hand, and articulated to the cabin on the other hand.
