Abstract: A scroll compressor comprising a compressor casing; a compression unit including a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll defining a compression volume; an oil sump; a drive shaft including a driving portion coupled with the orbiting scroll; a variable-speed electric motor configured to rotatably drive the drive shaft; an oil injection system including an oil feed channel fluidly connected to the oil sump and extending over the entire length of the drive shaft, and oil injection means provided on the orbiting scroll and configured to deliver oil from the oil feed channel to the compression volume; and an oil flow regulating device configured to regulate an oil flow from the oil feed channel to the oil injection means.

Abstract: The multi-compressor refrigeration system comprising a controller and a multi-compressor device including at least three compressors which are coupled in parallel, each compressor equipped with an oil sump and an oil level detection device, the compressors divided into two groups each including at least one compressor; suction fittings of the compressors that are fluidly connected by a common suction line and oil sumps that are fluidly connected by a common oil equalization line. The multi-compressor device includes an oil pumping device located in the common oil equalization line and between the two groups, and at least one valve located in the common oil equalization line and configured to control an oil flow between the oil pumping device and at least one compressor of a group associated with the at least one valve.
