    SOLUTION: The NCO-containing compound having covalently bonded polyhedral oligomer silicon-oxygen cluster units is formed by reaction of a starting material (A) at least one aromatic, aliphatic and/or alicyclic polyisocyanate having NCO-functionality of 2-6, (B) 0.001-20.0 mass% polyhedral oligomer silicon-oxygen cluster units having at least one functional group reacting with isocyanate, in the case, 1-20 mol% of free isocyanate existing at the beginning and of polyisocyanate is converted, and (C), if necessary, a blocking agent, in the case, 80-99 mol% of free isocyanate existing at the beginning and of polyisocyanate is converted and the molar ratio of the converted isocianate is 100% in total.
