Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organosilicon compound releasing little amount of volatile alcohol when combining to a filler, and, simultaneously, having high reactivity. SOLUTION: The organosilicon compound is represented by general formula II. (Wherein, R is a methyl group or an ethyl group; R' is a 9-30C alkyl group or the like; R" is a bivalent 1-30C hydrocarbon or the like; X is S or the like, when X is S, n=2 and m=1-10). The organosilicon compound is produced by reacting a compound whose R' of formula II is R, with an alcohol represented by R'OH, in the presence of a catalyst, and continuously separating ROH by distillation. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a yellow bis[3-(trialkoxysilyl) alkyl]polysulfane enabling the additional use of chlorosilane to be omitted. SOLUTION: The yellow bis[3-(trialkoxysilyl)alkyl]polysulfane with an iodine color number of ≤10 mg/100 mL iodine is obtained by adding an organoc acid to a neutral chloroalkyl trialkoxysilane followed by reacting it in an alcohol with sodium polysulfide (NPS) or sodium sulfide (Na 2 S) and sulfur, or reacting with NPS and Na 2 S. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an oligomeric organosilane exhibiting improved reinforcing characteristics in a rubber mixture, and reducing the release of ethanol in a mixing process and a processing step thereafter by oligomerization. SOLUTION: This oligomeric organosilane is formed out of two structural units A and B.
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blocked mercaptosilane, inexpensively producible, having high elasticity, high reinforcement coefficient and excellent processability and dynamic property. SOLUTION: The mercatosilan is obtained by reacting a mercaptosilane corresponding to formula: (R 1 O) 3 Si-R 2 -SH with stearic acid chloride in an appropriate organic solvent in the presence of an auxiliary base, heating the mixture to boiling point to complete the reaction, filtering the product solid residue and then distilling away the solvent.
