PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming spherically shaped particles of excellent fluidity by starting with nicotinamide in a fused form. SOLUTION: Fused nicotinamide are made into liquid droplets by means of the jet stream corruption and the resultant fused liquid particles are cooled down by heat exchange until the fused particles are converted to solid spherical ones.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a bulk material for controlling to lower volume to be simultaneously introduced in a series of production, the number and the amount of a preparation auxiliary agent and also the loss of an active material when mixing the active material with a solid mixture at appropriate disperse accuracy. SOLUTION: This method for producing the bulk material comprises dissolving the active material in water and if necessary, adding an emulsifier to emulsify the product, and applying to a bulk material a solution (emulsion) containing water and the active material and if necessary, the emulsifier to mix with the bulk material. Nicotinic acid amide containing granules (I) with good flow properties have a spherical shape, a bulk density of greater than 750 kg/m , a particle size of 50-100 micro m, a dust content of less than 0.5 % and optionally an additive content of 0.01-5 wt.% and a nicotinic acid amide content of at least 90 wt.%. An Independent claim is included for a process for the preparation of part (I) having a water content of up to 5 wt.% by allowing a nicotinic acid amide melt to fall as droplets in a dropping tower at a temperature between the melting point and 250 degrees C and cooling the molten droplets by direct heat exchange with a gas to solidify the granules (I).
