Abstract: There are prepared black pigment containing UV-drying printing inks in which there is employed for the black pigmentation a carbon black having the following physical and chemical properties: }BET surface area m2/g 20-50 }Particle diameter nm 30-80 }DBP adsorption ml/100g 30-100 }Volatile constituents % 3-10 }pH 3-6 } The carbon black is produced by post oxidation of a coarse particled furnace black having the properties. }BET surface area m2/g 20-50 }Particle diameter nm 30-80 }DBP adsorption ml/100g 30-100 }
