    Abstract: Gaskonzentrationsmessgerät (1), mit einem Gassensor (20), der eine Konzentration eines in einem zu messenden Gas enthaltenen spezifischen Gasbestandteils misst, und einem Messsubstrat (10), auf dem eine elektrische Schaltungsanordnung (108) ausgebildet ist, die eine Signalverarbeitungsschaltung (100) zur Messung eines von dem Gassensor (20) abgegebenen Sensorstroms aufweist, wobei die elektrische Schaltungsanordnung (108) umfasst: einen Verbindungsanschluss (181), dem der Sensorstrom von dem Gassensor (20) zugeführt wird, wobei der Verbindungsanschluss (181) eine Eingangsimpedanz von 500 k&OHgr; oder mehr aufweist, ein an dem Messsubstrat (10) angebrachtes elektrisches Bauteil, und ein Leiterbahnmuster (109a, 109b, 109c, 109d, 109e), das Leitfähigkeit aufweist und mit dem elektrischen Bauteil elektrisch verbunden ist, wobei das Leiterbahnmuster (109a, 109b, 109c, 109d, 109e) zumindest aufweist: ein Signaleingabemuster (110), das einen Teil der Signalverarbeitungsschaltung (100) bildet und in Bezug auf den Verbindungsanschluss (181) eine Gleichstromimpedanz aufweist, die 10% oder weniger der Eingangsimpedanz des Verbindungsanschlusses (181) beträgt, ein Differenzpotentialmuster (140) mit einer Potentialdifferenz von 2 V oder mehr in Bezug auf ein Potential des Signaleingabemusters (110), und ein Schutzmuster (120) mit einem konstanten Potential über einen gesamten Abschnitt davon und einer Potentialdifferenz von weniger als 0,5 V in Bezug auf das Potential des Signaleingabemusters (110), und wobei das Schutzmuster (120) in zumindest einem Teil des Messsubstrats (10) angeordnet ist, der zwischen dem Signaleingabemuster (110) und dem Differenzpotentialmuster (140) liegt, wobei das Leiterbahnmuster (109a, 109b, 109c, 109d, 109e) einen Leitungsweg mit einer Ausgangsimpedanz von 500 &OHgr; oder weniger zu einer Masse des Messsubstrats (10) bildet, wobei das Leiterbahnmuster (109a, 109b, 109c, 109d, 109e) ein einen Teil der Signalverarbeitungsschaltung (100) bildendes Signalmessmuster (111) aufweist, ...

    Abstract: In a discharge lamp apparatus for a vehicle, it is determined that a grounded condition is present when a lamp voltage (VL) is less than a predetermined voltage and a lamp current (IL) is less than a predetermined current. Electric power supply to the lamp (2) is stopped temporarily in response to the determination of the grounded condition, and then the lighting operation is restarted again. If the grounded condition is determined again, the above operation is repeated. If this repetition continues for a predetermined period, the lighting operation is disabled continuously. In controlling the lamp (2), a voltage of a battery (1) is boosted by a transformer (41), which is turned on and off by a MOS transistor (42) so that electric power supplied to the lamp (2) is duty-controlled. An upper limit is set to the duty ratio, and the upper limit is increased as the lamp current decreases, so that the lighting characteristics of the lamp (2) is improved. A starter transformer (71) has a closed magnetic circuit core (701a), and is encased within a ballast casing (710), which is disposed under the lamp (2).

    Abstract: In a discharge lamp device, the electric power supplied to a discharge lamp is controlled in order of first to fourth control regions from the start of lighting of the discharge lamp. In the first control region, the lamp current is held constant until the lamp voltage reaches a first voltage value. In the second control region, the lamp current is reduced so as to have a correlation with a first time constant curve for a constant time after the lamp voltage reaches the first voltage value. In the third control region, the lamp current is reduced so as to have a correlation with a second time constant curve after a lapse of the constant time. The second time constant curve differs from the first time constant curve. In the fourth control region, a control value of the electric power supplied to the discharge lamp is free of a function of a lapse of time from the start of lighting of the discharge lamp, but is a function of at least the lamp voltage and the lamp current, and the electric power supplied to the discharge lamp is controlled by that control value. Through such a control, luminous flux is built up in a short time from the start of the lighting and an occurrence of overshoot or undershoot is minimized to a possible extent.
