Abstract: The present invention relates to polyethylene compositions. In one aspect, a polyethylene composition comprises (1) a first polyethylene fraction having a single peak in a temperature range of 50 ºC to 85 ºC in an elution profile via iCCD analysis method, (2) a second polyethylene fraction having a single peak in a temperature range of 85 ºC to 100 ºC in the elution profile via iCCD analysis method, and (3) a third polyethylene fraction having a single peak in a temperature range of 100 ºC to 120 ºC in the elution profile via iCCD analysis method, wherein the first polyethylene area fraction comprises 25 to 50% of the total area of the elution profile, wherein the second polyethylene area fraction comprises 30 to 50% of the total area of the elution profile, and wherein the third polyethylene area fraction comprises 15 to 35% of the total area of the elution profile.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to polyethylene-based compositions, monolayer films, multilayer films, laminates, and articles. In one aspect, a polyethylene-based composition comprises (A) at least 95% by weight, based on the total weight of the polyethylene-based composition, of one or more polyethylenes; and (B) 250 to 15,000 ppm, based on the total weight of the polyethylene-based composition, of a polydimethylsiloxane having a number average molecular weight (Mn) of 1,000 to 40,000 g/mol, wherein the polyethylene-based composition has a density of 0.865 to 0.915 g/cm3 and a melt index (I2) of 0.5 to 25 g/10 minutes.
