Abstract: A process to form a composition comprising an ethylene/vinylarene multiblock interpolymer, said process comprising polymerizing, in a single reactor, a mixture comprising ethylene, a vinylarene, and optionally an alpha-olefin, in the presence of at least the following a)-c): a) a first metal complex selected from the following Formula (A), as described herein: b) a second metal complex selected from the following Formula (B), as described herein, and c) a chain shuttling agent selected from the following: a dialkyl zinc, a trialkyl aluminum, or a combination thereof. A composition comprising an ethylene/vinylarene multiblock interpolymer comprising at least one polymer structure selected from: -(AR)-(AP)-(AR)-(AP)- (Structure 1), or (AR)-(AP)-(AR)-(AP) (Structure 2); where each (AR) segment independently comprises, in polymerized form, ethylene, > 10 mol% of the vinylarene and optionally an alpha-olefin, and wherein each (AP) segment independently comprises, ethylene, optionally ≤ 10 mol% vinylarene and optionally the alpha-olefin.

Abstract: A process to form a crosslinked composition comprising thermally treating a composition at a temperature ≥ 25°C, in the presence of moisture, and wherein the composition comprises the following components: a) an olefin/silane interpolymer, b) a cure catalyst selected from the following: i) a metal alkoxide, ii) a metal carboxylate, iii) a metal sulfonate, iv) an aryl sulfonic acid, v) a tris-aryl borane, vi) any combination of two or more from i)-v). Also, a composition comprising the following components a and b, as described above. A process to form an olefin/alkoxysilane interpolymer, and the corresponding composition, said process comprising thermally treating a composition comprising the following components: a) an olefin/silane interpolymer, b) an alcohol, and c) a Lewis acid.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a silicon-terminated telechelic polyolefin composition comprising a compound of formula (I). Embodiments related to a process for preparing the silicon-terminated telechelic polyolefin composition comprising a compound of formula (I), the process comprising combining starting materials comprising (A) a silicon-terminated organo-metal compound and (B) a silicon-based functionalization agent, thereby obtaining a product comprising the silicon-terminated telechelic polyolefin composition. In further embodiments, the starting materials of the process may further comprise (C) a nitrogen containing heterocycle. In further embodiments, the starting materials of the process may further comprise (D) a solvent.

Abstract: A composition comprising a phase separated block copolymer and an inorganic dielectric nanoparticle, wherein the nanoparticle is dispersed in the copolymer and is present primarily in one phase. For example, a Ti0 2 nanocomposite can be created via the in situ formation of Ti0 2 within a silane-grafted OBC. Taking advantage of the phase morphology of the OBC and the differential swelling of the hard and soft segments, due to their inherent crystallinity, enables the selective incorporation of Ti0 2 nanoparticles into the soft segments of the OBC.
