    Abstract: A process for removing contaminants from a fiber reinforcement material, the process comprising: (a) feeding a fiber reinforcement into a heated vessel, (b) passing the fiber reinforcement through the heated vessel, (c) heating a source of fluid medium, (d) feeding the heated fluid medium from (c) into the heated vessel having a passageway in the heated vessel for allowing the heated fluid medium from (c) to enter into the heated vessel, (e) passing the heated fluid medium through the heated vessel; wherein the heated vessel has a passageway for allowing the heated fluid medium from (c) to exit the heated vessel, and (f) contacting the fiber reinforcement passing through the heated vessel with the heated fluid medium passing through the heated vessel such that any contaminants present in or on the fiber reinforcement is sufficiently reduced to provide a purified fiber reinforcement exiting the heated vessel.

    Abstract: Proppant particles are made by coating the particles with a coating composition that contains a polyisocyanate, followed by applying and reacting a compound that is isocyanate-reactive and also has acrylate or methacrylate groups. The resulting proppant particles bond together when emplaced in a subterranean formation to form a proppant pack that resists flowback. Good bonding is seen even at somewhat low formation temperatures.

    Abstract: A reprocessable polyurethane based textile backing includes a reaction product of a mixture including an isocyanate component, an isocyanate reactive component, and one or more fillers. The isocyanate component includes at least an isocyanate-terminated prepolymer or a modified polyisocyanate and the isocyanate component has a calculated isocyanate functionality from 1.9 to 2.1. The isocyanate-reactive component includes one or more low monol content polyether diols derived from propylene oxide and ethylene oxide and having a hydroxyl functionality from 1.97 to 2.00, one or more chain extenders, and one or more catalysts.
