Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a device capable of increasing or controlling the amt. of discharged water from a water discharging port by installing a pump for forcibly discharging water to a discharging channel at the downstream side of the discharging port. CONSTITUTION:Sewage, etc., introduced from an introducing channel 1 is received in a solid/liquid separator at an introducing port 2, then flowed in the circumferential direction in an annular zone between an outside wall 3 of the separator and an overflow pipe 4 forming swirl stream 5 and secondary stream 6. Light solid matters 7 are discharged to the outside from an outlet 13 of the overflow pipe 13. On the other hand, heavy solid matters 9 are discharged to the outside from a discharging port 11 at the bottom through a bottom discharging pipe 29. Further, purified liquid flows into a discharging channel 14 from a discharging port 12 and discharged further forcibly with a pump 15 and conducted through an outlet 20 of the pump to a public water area.

SOLUTION: An explosive 13 is placed in a layer of incombustible powders or incombustible liquid 11 and exploded near a firing point to generate an inert gas through the explosion and to atomize the incombustible powders or incombustible liquid 11. The inert gas and the atomized incombustible powders or incombustible liquid are spread over a wide area around the firing point to extinguish flames.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly disperse enough liquid-sucked high-viscosity high molecular polymer by mixing a liquid with a liquid absorptive high molecular polymer to absorb the liquid, and transporting and spreading the mixture. SOLUTION: A hopper 2 is provided on the upstream end of a pipe 1 forming a transport means, and high water absorptive high molecular polymer and water, the temperature of which is raised to about 40 deg.C or more by a heater 3 are thrown in the hopper to be mixed. By such heating, water absorption to the polymer is promoted. The thus enough water absorbed high molecular polymer and water are sent to the scene of a fire, and spread by a spreading means to extinguish the fire. The heater 3 may be provided in the midway of the pipe 1, thereby heating the mixture of the high molecular polymer and water. The heater 3 may be of an electric type or a combustion type. By this arrangement, a liquid can be absorbed to be uniformly spread in a short time.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a system capable of removing dust such as volcanic ash effectively by providing an internal cylinder for collecting the dust from a bottom end, a means for ejecting fine water drops into a duct at the downstream side of a blower, a communicating cyclone and a pressure dehydration device. CONSTITUTION:Compressed air discharged from an air compressor 1 is sucked into a top section of an external cylinder 3 through an air feeding pipe 27. An internal cylinder 2 having many small holes 4 perforated thereon is arranged to the inside of an external cylinder 3, and the air in the internal cylinder side is sucked upward by the blower 8. An ejecting port 10 for fine water drops is provided to a passage 1 of the air at the downstream side of the blower 8, and the dust is moistened and the mass is increased by the ejection of fine water drops. The moistened dust enters a cyclone 13 forming sticky dust 15 by the effect of centrifugal force and accumulates on the inside wall of the cyclone, which is dehydrated under pressure in a space 20, and lumps of the dust fall on a rotary perforated body and are collected in a dust collector 26.
