PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved detergent composition for a hard surface, decreasing suffocation reaction in spraying. SOLUTION: The oven detergent decreasing mist comprises (a) to (d) ingredients and is a strongly acidic detergent composition for a hard surface, thixotropic, capable of being atomized and being compounded to form an airborne aerosol having ≥170 μm mean diameter when sprayed, wherein (a) ingredient is a strong acid of an effective detergent amount, (b) ingredient is an organic surfactant of an effective amount, (c) ingredient is an organic thickener of an effective amount and (d) ingredient is water. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkaline detergent composition including an alkaline source in an amount effective for removing soil and a surfactant blend in an amount effective for removing soil. SOLUTION: The alkaline detergent composition includes a source of alkalinity and a blend of nonionic surfactants that enhances the cleaning of starchy soils. The blend of nonionic surfactants preferably includes an alkyl polyglycoside surfactant and a silicone surfactant having a hydrophobic silicone group and a pendant hydrophilic group. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition for tableware, which can reasonably give a stabilized solid product having an equal deterging power to a caustic detergent without practically corroding metals by forming a solid containing sodium carbonate, an alkali metal silicate salt composition, a metal ion sequestering agent, a surfactant packaging and other optional ingredients. SOLUTION: The composition contains: (a) about 10-80 wt.% of Na 2 CO 3 ; (b) an alkali metal silicate salt having the ratio about 1:1-1:5 for M 2 O:SiO 2 ; (c) an effective amount of a metal ion sequestering agent for a hard water component (hardnnes) comprising an organic phosphonate salt; a binder containing sodium carbonate anhydride; sodium carbonate hydrate and an organic phosphonate salt and substantially no second alkali source. SOLUTION: The objective composition comprises (a) about 10-80 wt.% of Na2CO3, (b) an alkali metal silicate salt having an M2O:SiO2 ratio of about 1:1 to 1:5 and (c) an effective amount of a sequestering agent for a hard water component comprising an organic phosphonate salt, and contains sodium carbonate anhydride and a binder containing sodium carbonate hydrate and an organic phosphonate salt and does not substantially contain a second alkali source. The product 10 reveals a solid block 11 when packaging 12 is removed, which is used in a solid state.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition not causing the corrosion or crack generation of plastics and not generating stains at a proper time after a rinsing treatment by compounding a specific nonionic surfactant with a specified polysiloxane copolymer. SOLUTION: This rinsing auxiliary agent composition comprises (A) 0.1-10 wt.% of a polysiloxane copolymer of formula I [R is a group of formula II or formula III (Z is H, a 1-6C alkyl; (x), (y) are each 0, 1, or larger; the weight ratio of EO:PO is 100:0 to 0:100)], and (B) 2-90 wt.% of a nonionic block copolymer of an alkylene oxide selected from ethylene oxide, propylene oxide and their mixture. The composition preferably further contains 1-20 wt.% of a hydrotropic agent such as an amine oxide.

SOLUTION: Detergents, especially solid block 11 alkaline detergent compositions, are disclosed comprising a source of alkalinity, and other detergent additives including a sequestrant. The detergents of the invention use a mixed condensed phosphate and organic phosphonate sequestrant component. The solid block detergents of the invention comprises large masses of the chemical ingredients having a mass of greater than about 500 grams in a solid block product form that is typically dispensed using a water spray-on dispenser that forms an aqueous concentrate that is used in a washing machine.
