Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compsn. which provides a clean, clear, and glossy appearance by incorporating an arom. sulfonate, a sulfonate ester, a nonionic antifoaming surfactant, and an aq. diluent into the same. SOLUTION: This compsn. contains 0.15-15 wt.% arom. sulfonate surfactant represented by formula I (e.g. an alkyl diphenyl oxide disulfonate), 0.3-18 wt.% ester sulfonate surfactant (e.g. a dialkylsulfosuccinate ester), 0.1-11 wt.% nonionic antifoaming surfactant (e.g. an acetylene glycol surfactant), and 0.1-15 wt.% water-soluble solvent (e.g. ethanol). If necessary, the compsn. further contains 0.1-4 wt.% sequestering agent and 0.01-2.5 wt.% non-quaternary-ammonium antimicrobial agent. In the formula, R1 is a 1-12C aliph. group; R2 is H+, an alkali metal cation, NH4+, or a mono-, di-, or triethanolamine cation; and R3 and R4 are each a 1-20C aliph. group.
Abstract:
A dispensing apparatus (200) dilutes a liquid concentrate to form a dilute use solution for dispensing into a bottle having first and second lockout sections. The dispenser (200) includes an aspirator (222) and a valve (210) operatively connected to the aspirator (222) to control flow of liquid diluent. A base member is positioned under the aspirator (222) and has first and second sides (206 and 207). Each side has an inwardly protruding lockout member (249 and 250). The bottle (201) has elongate lockouts (245 and 246) and vertical lockouts (247 and 248). The lockouts provide for a lockout to prevent the wrong bottle from entering the dispenser (200) and also provides for alignment of the bottle (201) as it is moved vertically towards the aspirator (222).

Abstract:
The invention generally comprises a composition capable of sanitizing and disinfecting antimicrobial efficacy while also being ingestible as a food additive residue by humans and mammals. Specifically, the microbicidal composition of the invention generally comprises a carrier and an antimicrobial agent, wherein the antimicrobial agent generally comprises a C5 to C14 unsaturated monocarboxylic acid such as sorbic acid, in combination with an aromatic carboxylic acid such as benzoic acid. The antimicrobial composition of the invention is useful for both hard and soft surface sanitizing in environments such as farms, milk and food processing, fluid milk operations, institutional food preparation and serving areas, health care and child care facilities, as well as any other number of contact sensitive environments which require compositions having high antimicrobial efficacy and which will not contaminate food stocks and which pose no danger to humans. Also disclosed are concentrate and solid compositions stemming from the invention as well as the method of using the composition of the invention in sanitizing and disinfecting applications.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a fitment for insertion into the neck of a container for liquid concentrate that can be opened by insertion of the container into a reservoir. The fitment comprises a substantially cylindrical body comprising an exterior mating surface that can sealingly engage the container and an internal web within the cylindrical body closing the fitment having a fracture zone permitting opening the fitment. The web also comprises a hinged fracture zone defined by a straight hinge portion and a partially circular recess in the web.
