Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective cleaning method for cleaning a hard floor surface which is capable of restoring a virtually clean hard floor surface with non-slip properties effectively. SOLUTION: This cleaning method for a hard floor surface of a biscuit firing ceramic tile hardened by grout which has complex soils including fat and Ca salt of fatty acid includes the following sequential processes (a) to (c): (a) first of all, a first cleaner having alkaline pH contacts the hard floor surface where the complex soils exist, and a mechanical force is applied to the complex soils; (b) next, a second cleaner having acidic pH contacts the treated floor surface and adds mechanical soil removing operation; and (c) then, a third cleaner having neutral pH contacts the treated floor surface. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device and method for injecting a concentrated liquid together with a dilution liquid to produce a solution for use as a diluent which is injected into a bottle. SOLUTION: An injection device comprises an aspirator 60 and a controller 50. The controller 50 includes a start switch which can be operated by being depressed in a first direction. A slide actuator 80 is mounted in opposition to the controller so as to be moved in a second direction. The injection device also includes a lockout member so that a solution for use as a diluent can be prevented from being accidentally injected into a wrong bottle.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for dispensing a solid product having a diluent.SOLUTION: A dispenser 10 uses first and second flow controls. The flow controls maintain first and second flow ranges independent of diluent pressure within a pressure range, wherein the use solution's concentration is maintained over the pressure range. A third flow control may also be utilized in a third diluent passageway for maintaining a third flow range independent of the diluent pressure within the pressure range. A bypass valve assembly is operatively connected to the third incoming diluent passageway. The bypass valve has a temperature control valve. The temperature control valve has a bypass passageway, wherein an additional diluent is added to the use solution, thereby controlling the use solution's concentration.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispenser for forming a solution for use by spraying a dilution agent to a solid and dissolving the solid.SOLUTION: The dispenser 10 is provided with: (a) a housing 11 for holding the solid; (b) a spray nozzle for forming the solution for use by spraying the dilution agent to the solid held in the housing 11; (c) a first flow-in dilution agent passage fluid-communicated with the spray nozzle; (d) a first flow control portion disposed in the first flow-in dilution agent passage so as to keep a first flow range with no relation to the pressure of the dilution agent in a certain pressure range; (e) a second flow-in dilution agent passage fluid-communicated with the solution for use; and (f) a second flow control portion disposed in the second flow-in dilution agent passage so as to keep a second flow range with no relation to the pressure of the dilution agent in the pressure range, and keeping the concentration of the solution for use over the pressure range.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a dispensing process by adjusting future dispense cycles, accurately dispensing the ingredient, and predicting an amount of ingredient to be dispensed. SOLUTION: A method of dispensing a requested amount of an ingredient, includes the steps of: dispensing the ingredient based on a factor affecting a dispensed amount of the ingredient; determining the dispensed amount of the ingredient; and adjusting the factor for a subsequent dispense cycle using a comparison between the requested amount and the dispensed amount. The factor includes a predetermined amount of time to dispense the ingredient, and a pumping speed of a pump or a speed of dispenser used to dispense the ingredient, and the factor is adjusted upward or downward. Abstract:
A product dispenser and carrier (10) for attachment to a surface such as an inner surface of a dryer includes a plate member (11) and a product carrier (21). The plate member (11) attaches to the surface and the product carrier (21) releasably attaches to the plate member (11). Product (31) is operatively connected to the product carrier (21).
Abstract:
Disclosed is a dispenser (10) for a solid chemical (13) and a method of dispensing the chemical (13). Water enters via an inlet line (22) and is sprayed from a spray nozzle (21), so that the solid chemical (13) is dispensed in the form of an aqueous chemical solution via outlet line (17). The solution's concentration is adjustable by varying the distance between the spray nozzle (21) and the exposed dissolving surface of the chemical (13). The spray nozzle's position is adjusted by means of a screw jack (68), a push-pull cable (93), a solenoid (100), or a lever (117).
Abstract:
An apparatus (10) for creating a use solution of a concentrate diluted, with a dilution rate of not more than 1:130, into a diluent (12) flowing under pressure in a line (22). A normally-closed, user activatable valve (18) is operatively coupled in the line allowing the diluent to flow in the line upon user activation. A flow regulator (26) is operatively coupled in the line downstream of the valve (18), configured to maintain a constant flow rate for the diluent in the line. A constant flow rate pump (32) having an inlet and an outlet is operatively coupled to the valve (18). The inlet is adapted to be operatively fluidly coupled to the concentrate (28). The outlet is fluidly coupled to the line downstream of the flow regulator (26).
Abstract:
A method and system provide an automated cleaning apparatus (20) for cleaning various types of articles, wherein each type of article is detected and washed according to its own pre-determined combination. The cleaning apparatus has a storage device (32) storing an array of pre-determined chemical combinations and cleaning parameters, including specifying cleaning chemicals to be used on the various identified article types. A transponder (23) is provided with identifying information of the article type. A transceiver detects the type of article from the transponder and communicates that identifying information to a processor. Based on the detected identifier, the processor selects from the storage device the proper chemical combination and cleaning parameters for washing the identified type of article. A control device coupled to the processor delivers the chemicals specified by the selected chemical combination. Finally, a cleaning subsystem coupled to the processor cleans the articles using the delivered chemicals and other specified parameters.
Abstract:
A dispenser (10) uses first and second flow controls (70, 73). The flow controls maintain first and second flow ranges independent of diluent pressure within a pressure range, wherein the use solution's concentration is maintained over the pressure range. A third flow control (75) may also be utilized in a third diluent passageway for maintaining a third flow range independent of the diluent pressure within the pressure range. A bypass valve assembly (41) is operatively connected to the third incoming diluent passageway. The bypass valve has a temperature control valve. The temperature control valve having a bypass passageway, wherein additional diluent is added to the use solution, thereby controlling the use solution's concentration.
