Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a color conversion method, a gray scale value correction apparatus, a computer program and a display apparatus that can reproduce fine gray scale variations between grid points and further can suppress the deterioration of accuracy caused by interpolations. [Solution] One of the input or output gray scale of a gray scale characteristic, which indicates an input/output gray scale characteristic to be reproduced at a second conversion unit, is sectioned into gray scale sections each having a given gray scale interval. Each gray scale value of the other gray scale of the gray scale characteristic is corrected for a respective gray scale section such that the intervals of the other gray scale that are of the gray scale sections as sectioned become intervals each corresponding to the given gray scale interval. A first conversion unit uses the corrected gray scale values to convert the gray scale values of an image.

Abstract:
Provided are a method for measuring display light intensity, a computer program, and a measurement system whereby color expression can be generically measured without regard to the specifications of the display device. A measurement device (1) connected to an optical sensor (2) is capable of communicating with a display device (information terminal device (3)) that is the object of measurement, and transmits content including a color patch to the display device to cause the content to be displayed, and performs measurement using the optical sensor (2) during display. In order to perform measurements using numerous color patches, the measurement device (1) repeats a process whereby, when the measurement performed during display of one color patch is completed, content including another color patch is transmitted to and displayed on the display device, and measurement is performed during display.

Provided are a color conversion method, gradation value correction device, computer program, and display device that can reproduce small gradation changes between lattice points, as well as can reduce accuracy degradation caused by interpolation. Dividing one of input gradations and output gradations of gradation characteristics, indicating input/output gradation characteristics reproduced in a second conversion unit, into gradation segments having predetermined gradation intervals. Then, correcting each of the gradation values of the other gradations of the gradation characteristics so that gradation intervals of the other gradations become intervals corresponding to the predetermined gradation intervals. The first conversion unit then converts the gradation values of an image using the corrected gradation values.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color conversion method, a tone value correction device, a computer program and a display device, capable of reproducing fine tone change between grid points, with the suppression of accuracy deterioration produced by interpolation.SOLUTION: A second conversion unit sections one of an input tone and an output tone, having tone characteristics indicative of input/output tone characteristics to be reproduced, into tone sections having predetermined tone intervals. Each tone value of another tone of the tone characteristics is corrected on the basis of each tone section, in such a manner that the intervals of another tone of the sectioned tone sections become intervals corresponding to the predetermined tone intervals. A first conversion unit converts each tone value of the image using each corrected tone values.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color reproduction method which can achieve highly accurate color reproducibility depending on the color characteristics of an object device to be emulated, and to provide a color reproduction apparatus and a computer program.SOLUTION: A pre-colorimetry patch generation unit 131 generates a pre-colorimetry patch that is inputted to a display 200, in order to calculate an evaluation value for evaluating the color characteristics of the display 200. A color characteristics evaluation value calculation unit 14 calculates an evaluation value related to the color characteristics of the display 200 on the basis of the colorimetric data obtained from the display 200 when the pre-colorimetry patch is outputted thereto. A calculation model selection unit 16 selects one calculation model, among a plurality of different calculation models, for reproducing the color of the color characteristics of the display 200 on a display 300, depending on the evaluation value calculated in the color characteristics evaluation value calculation unit 14.
