Abstract: A method and device for processing biological fluids that includes providing biological fluids within a cell culture media to a bioreactor and growing biological cells therein; delivering the biological fluid wherein a biological fluid is delivered to the bioreactor via an external re-circulating loop or, for example, a port in a manifold; optionally sampling the biological fluid through sample ports; optionally sensing a condition of the biological fluid; optionally delivering the biological fluid to a second manifold which comprises a weldable sample port; adding a reagent to the biological fluid via the sample port; and returning the biological fluid to the bioreactor.
