Abstract: A magnetic tape cassette is designed with a casing elevation. The usual two-part casing of such a cassette is simulated by substantially flat casing parts connected to at least one third separate casing part, which is able to be suitably connected to the flat casing parts. The improvement in the position of the tape-guiding elements can be achieved for all types of comparable cassettes.
