Abstract:
The invention concerns a back coating (back surface casting) of a product obtained by heat transfer and/or heat sublimation. It consists of a novel closed coat comprising a slipping agent and/or lubricant, such that, said coating not only optimizes the gliding properties of the strip, but enhances as well the adherence of the coat to the substrate, thereby minimizing bonding and abrasion usually occurring during the process.
Abstract:
A heat transfer product has a release layer containing a binder and a support substance especially applied from a solvent dispersion. An Independent claim is also included for applying a release layer onto a matt layer by applying a solvent dispersion containing a binder, a support substance, a separating agent and a pigment and then removing the binder.
Abstract:
In a thermal transfer product with an ink-release layer containing wax(es) and pigment(s), the layer also contains binder(s). An Independent claim is also included for a process for applying an ink-release layer or a release layer and an ink layer as above to a substrate film by applying the layer or each layer as dispersion and removing the solvent.
