Abstract: Tape spool has flanges and central boss and is produced using an injection molding technique. To prevent deformation of the flange caused by vacuum formation in the corners between the disk shaped flanges and the central boss at least three through holes are provided in the corner regions. Independent claims are made for devices for producing upper and lower flanges of a tape spool.
