    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable stepless change of speed by providing a ring gear of a planetary-gear system with a worm gear meshed with a work drivable by a motor. CONSTITUTION:When a planetary carrier 5 mounted on an input shaft 9 is turning at a low speed by the power from an engine, a ring gear 3 also turns in the same direction as the planetary carrier 5 via a worm gear 7 and a worm 1 by a motor and therefore the rotation of the planetary carrier 5 is not transmitted to a sun gear, thus temporarily interrupting the transmission of the power. If the engine speed is increased or the speed of a motor 2 is reduced, the rotating speed of the sun gear gradually increases to change the speed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a larger valve area with a prescribed valve diameter and reduce a resistance to suction and exhaustion, by providing a mushroom-shaped inner valve in a mushroom-shaped outer valve. CONSTITUTION:A mushroom-shaped inner valve 2 is provided in a mushroom- shaped outer valve 1. The outer valve 1 is fitted with an outer valve spring 4. The inner valve 2 is fitted with an inner valve spring 5. When a rocker arm 8 is pushed up by a cam 9, the outer valve 1 is pushed open and the inner valve 2 is simultaneously pushed open by another cam 6 and another rocker arm 7 to cause suction or exhaustion through a port 3.

Negative pressure is produced in the cylinder while a piston is in a motion from top dead center to bottom dead center. By this negative pressure, the reed valve 3 is opened, and air or mixture is sucked into within the cylinder from an innumerable quantity of the air intake valves 4 in surfaces of the valve seat 2.
