    Abstract: Systems and methods related to concatenated polar encoding with interleaving are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a radio node to perform encoding of a plurality of data bits for transmission by the radio node comprises encoding a plurality of data bits using a linear encoder to provide a first plurality of coded bits of an outer code, where the first plurality of coded bits comprises a plurality of parity bits and the plurality of data bits. The method further comprises interleaving the first plurality of coded bits in accordance with an interleaving mapping, wherein interleaving mapping is based on the generator matrix of the outer code, to provide a plurality of interleaved bits and encoding the plurality of interleaved bits using a polar encoder to provide a second plurality of coded bits to be transmitted by the radio node.

    Abstract: The disclosure relates to future radio access systems and more specifically to methods for media access in future radio access systems. The present disclosure presents a method performed in a first node 10c in a wireless communication system, of accessing a shared channel for transmission from the first node to at least one second node 20d. The method comprises the step of receiving, from a third node a pilot signal announcing reception in the third node 10a, wherein the pilot signal comprises information enabling estimation of a channel response from the first node 10c to the third node 10a. The method further comprises estimating, using the pilot signal, a channel response from the first node to the third node and predicting, based on the estimated channel response, an interference level at the receiver of the third node of a directive transmission from the first node to the second node. The method finally comprises accessing the shared channel based on the predicted interference level. The presented method mitigates the problem of hidden nodes for directive transmissions. The disclosure relates to methods for reserving and accessing a shared media in radio access systems, as well as to wireless network nodes.

    Abstract: Se describen los sistemas y métodos relacionados con la determinación de la ruta distribuida a través de una red inalámbrica multi-hop con base en múltiples métricas de rutas o propiedades. En algunas modalidades, un método de operación de un nodo de red consiste en identificar una subserie de vecinos del nodo de red en una red inalámbrica con base en: (a) el(los) peso(s) del enlace para enlaces desde el nodo de red hasta al menos algunos vecinos del nodo de red con respecto a la(s) métrica(s) de la ruta, y (b) límite(s) definido(s) para la(s) métrica(s) de la ruta. El método además consiste en obtener segundos pesos del enlace para los enlaces desde el nodo de red hasta al menos la subserie de los vecinos con respecto a una segunda métrica de la ruta, e identificar de la subserie de los vecinos, un siguiente vecino hop óptimo para el nodo de red. En esta forma, se toman en consideración múltiples métricas de ruta de manera que sean eficientes desde el punto de vista computacional.

    Abstract: According to certain embodiments, a method by a transmitter is provided for adaptively generating precoder bits for a Polar code. The method includes acquiring at least one configuration parameter upon which a total number of precoder bits depends. The at least one configuration parameter comprising at least one of an information block length K,a code block length N, and/or a code rate R=K/N. The total number of precoder bits is determined, and the precoder bits for a code block are generated according to the determined total number of precoder bits. The precoder bits are placed within the code block.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein that allow information carrying bits of a transmission block to be placed at higher-reliability positions prior to transmission. An exemplary method includes generating a set of payload bits to be encoded for transmission, wherein the set of payload bits includes at least one known bit, interleaving the set of payload bits to generate an interleaved set of payload bits, wherein the interleaved set includes the at least one known bit in a predetermined position in the interleaved set, providing the interleaved set to a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) encoder to generate CRC-interleaved set of payload bits, wherein the CRC-interleaved set includes the at least one known bit in a predetermined position within the CRC-interleaved set, and encoding the CRC-interleaved set for transmission to a wireless device.
