    Abstract: A method is proposed for adjusting transmission properties associated with data transfer in time slots of predetermined length, the method comprises transmitting a first transport block S101 using a set of transport transmission properties to a receiving node. A probing block S102 is transmitted to the receiving node using a set of probing transmission properties comprising a reduced robustness in relation to the set of transport transmission properties. The set of transport transmission properties is reconfigured for further transport blocks based on information communicated by the receiving node indicative of success of decoding of the probing block by the receiving node.

    Abstract: A network node of a terrestrial cellular system provides telecommunications service to a user equipment (UE) in an airborne aircraft. Navigation information transmitted from the aircraft is periodically acquired, including aircraft identity, position, altitude, and a time of determining aircraft position. A link is maintained between the network node and the UE by transmitting beam steered, Doppler shift compensated downlink signals, and by performing beam steered reception of uplink signals. Beam steering is directed toward the aircraft based on the navigation information. Doppler shift compensation is adapted to compensate for a Doppler shift such that the UE experiences a nominal carrier frequency when receiving transmissions from the antenna nodes. Handover from a first to a second coverage area includes using a same cell identifier and a same frequency allocation in the second coverage area as are used in the first.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods of configuring transmission properties in a radio network node. More particularly the disclosure pertains to configuring transmission properties based on a successful decoding of one or more transport blocks. The disclosure also relates to methods of configuring transmission properties in the uplink and in the downlink and to corresponding radio network node and computer program. According to some aspects, the disclosure proposes a method, performed in a radio network node that is communicating with a wireless device, of configuring transmission properties. The method comprises obtaining information indicative of a decoding margin of a successful decoding of a first transport block transmitted, using a set of transmission properties, between the radio network node and the wireless device and reconfiguring the transmission properties to be used for further transmissions between the radio network node and the wireless device, based on the obtained information indicative of a decoding margin.
