Abstract:
A method and arrangement in a telecommunication system for facilitating communications between a first terminal A configured to use a first session model and a second terminal B configured to use a second session model for media transportation. The first terminal A initiates a service capability check and in response, receives capability features of the second terminal B. Upon determining that the second terminal B uses the second session model, the first terminal A is reconfigured to use the second session model.
Abstract:
Personalized advertisements may be provided from a service node to a user, parallel to executing a request from the user device. At the service node, advertisement information may be selected, according to predefined advertisement rules and the applications which are available at the user device, and attached to a response message, sent to the user device in response to the received request. At the user device, the advertisement information is retrieved, structured and stored. A change of state of an application of the user device will initiate an interrogation of the advertisement information, which will result in performing a presentation of an advertisement on the user information, in case such instructions exists. An advertising method, a user device and a service node adapted to execute the suggested method are described.
Abstract:
A method and arrangement for providing a ring-back presentation to a calling terminal after receiving a call setup request from the calling terminal (A) for a first communication session (308) with a called terminal (B) . A second packet-based communication session (310) is established with the calling terminal, independent of the first session, and pre-defined media content is provided as said ring-back presentation (312) to the calling terminal over the second session. Thereby, ring-back presentations to waiting callers can be selected from a great range of media types, including visual media. A calling user can also control the playout or display of the ring-back presentation irrespective of when the call is answered.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A method, a system, a server, and a computer program product are provided for Multimedia Capability discovery of different user terminals. Unnecessary use of the radio interface is avoided based on a network storage, which is accessible without registration to find out about the calling as well as the called user's multimedia capabilities during a voice call. If there is a positive capability discovery result out of this for both users, the system sends a message to each of the user terminals that they should notify the users, e.g., by displaying an icon above a soft button. There is no need for establishing a packet switched session, which uses a lot of radio interface signalling, until the Multimedia Service capability of both subscribers and their user terminals is investigated and responded to both user terminals and their users.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A method and system are disclosed for creating an interface between a packet-switched network and an IN, which is based on an interface between an associated circuit-switched network and an IN/CAMEL service. Meanwhile, the CAMEL application can also provide IN services to mobile subscribers while they are roaming in other networks (e.g., international roaming).
