Abstract: A traffic plane entity (e.g., user plane entity (UPE), serving gateway (S-GW)) and method are described herein for allocating a unique identifier (e.g., UPE/S-GW UE-Context-Id) which identifies and unifies a set of bearers within a UE context that is associated with a given UE. In operation, the traffic plane entity can then send the allocated unique identifier to another entity (e.g., mobility management entity (MME)) which at a subsequent time re-sends the unique identifier back to the traffic plane entity along with a request to have the traffic plane entity perform a specific operation or procedure on the bearers associated with the UE context of the given UE. Upon receiving the request, the traffic plane entity uses the unique identifier to perform the requested operation or procedure simultaneously on all of the bearers associated with the UE context of the given UE.

Abstract: Un servidor (10, 11) de subscripción para manejar el establecimiento y mantenimiento de sesiones de comunicación inalámbrica, y para manejar el traspaso de un equipo (3) de usuario, UE, entre una primera red inalámbrica de comunicaciones y una segunda red inalámbrica de comunicaciones, que comprende: - una unidad (201) de procesamiento; - una unidad (202) de memoria; - al menos una interfaz (204, 205) de comunicación; en el que la unidad (201) de procesamiento está dispuesta para poner en marcha instrucciones almacenadas en la unidad (202) de memoria para recibir mensajes de control de información, estando, los mensajes de control, relacionados con el estado de conexión del UE (3) con relación a la primera red inalámbrica de comunicaciones y la segunda red inalámbrica de comunicaciones, en el que al menos una red inalámbrica de comunicaciones es de tipo 3GPP y al menos una red inalámbrica de comunicaciones es de tipo no 3GPP, a través de la al menos una interfaz (204, 205) de comunicación, en donde el servidor (10, 11) de subscripción está configurado para: - recibir una solicitud de información de la dirección IP desde un primer dispositivo (7, 8) de gestión de movilidad de la primera red inalámbrica de comunicaciones; - enviar una respuesta al primer dispositivo (7, 8) de gestión de movilidad de la primera red inalámbrica de comunicaciones con la dirección IP; - enviar información sobre el estado de conexión del UE a un segundo dispositivo (7, 8) de gestión de movilidad en la segunda red inalámbrica de comunicaciones, en el que el estado de conexión comprende que un estado de gestión de movilidad, MM, en la MME y/o en el SGSN se modifique de tal manera que el UE sea clasificado como en estado acceso_no_3GPP_INACTIVO, o que el estado de registro en el servidor AAA se modifique de tal manera que el UE sea clasificado como en estado de acceso 3GPP_INACTIVO, permitiendo que se impida que el UE (3) se desconecte.

Abstract: The present invention addresses the management of user groups, user contact lists, and user access lists in a telecom-communication system whereby a user access to a group and list management server for creating, deleting or modifying a group, contact list and access list in terms of group policies and members. User groups, user contact lists, and user access lists are operated without any validation other than being syntactically correct, and without taking into consideration the users access capabilities, the users privacy, and even the user existence. In particular, the telecommunication system may comprise a number of networks operated by different network operators where the users hold subscriptions. The present invention offers a new interface between a group management server and a subscriber server of a network operator where the users hold their subscriptions, so that user policies in the subscriber server govern operations on groups, contact lists and access lists.
