    Abstract: The invention concerns a method for mounting in a frame a progressive user-prescribed ophthalmic lens. It consists in measuring on the user only the horizontal position of the user's pupil. From said measurement, and the total height of the frame size, the lens is positioned in the frame, then machined and mounted in the frame. The invention enables to avoid errors caused by measurements of the user's pupil height relative to the frame when mounting lenses.

    Abstract: Procedimiento de montaje en una montura de una lente oftálmica prescrita a un portador, caracterizado por las etapas de: - medir la posición horizontal de la pupila del portador; - determinar la altura total (B) del calibre de la montura, - posicionar la lente en la montura en función de la posición horizontal medida y de la altura total (B); y - desbastar la lente y montar la lente en la montura. comprendiendo la etapa de posicionamiento el posicionamiento, a una dis- tancia h verticalmente encima del borde inferior del calibre de la montura, del punto de la lente por el cual debe pasar la mirada del portador cuando mira hacia el infinito con la cabeza recta, con h = Int(0, 5.B + 5, 5) para 31 = B = 35 (1) h = Int(0, 5.B + 4, 5) para 36 = B = 50 (2) donde B es la altura total del calibre de la montura, y Int es la función pa- ra la parte entera.
