Abstract: L'invention a pour objet une méthode de coloration d'une lentille optique comprenant un primaire d'impression transparent, colorable par impression jet d'encre. Cette méthode de coloration met en oeuvre un procédé d'impression jet d'encre dudit primaire d'impression en vue d'obtenir une lentille optique teintée, et cela de façon indépendante de la nature chimique des composés constitutifs du substrat de ladite lentille. La lentille optique teintée ainsi obtenue fait partie intégrante de l'invention.

The primer is deposited on a face of a plastic substrate of ophthalmic lens for forming a film. The primer is dried and printed using an inkjet printer, and the ink is dried. An independent claim is also included for an ophthalmic lens colored by a coloring method.
