    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens having an aspherical surface which has a near sight region larger than the near sight region of the conventional multifocal lens and wider in width and is small in aberrations, i.e., astigmatism. SOLUTION: Δ is used in order to express the difference in the average spherical value between a near sight control point and the geometrical center of the lens. The surface area which is the surface area delineated by a point shorter than 20 mm from the geometrical center of the lens and of which the cylindrical value exists between 0.42Δ and 0.84Δ is made larger than the surface area which is the surface area delineated by a point shorter than 20 mm from the geometrical center of the lens and of which the cylindrical value is smaller than 0.42Δ.

Selon l'invention, le dispositif comporte une pièce (1) comportant une première face (1A) de support de ladite image (2) rétro-éclairée par une source de lumière (7), une deuxième face (1B) de support dudit miroir (3) qui est semi réfléchissant, formant un angle d'au moins 90° par rapport à ladite première face et disposée en face d'une troisième face (1C) de positionnement d'au moins une lentille ophtalmique (4A) avec sa face concave tournée vers l'extérieur, pourvue d'un agencement de positionnement de ladite lentille comprenant au moins un orifice (4) agencé sur ladite troisième face, le dispositif comportant également un texte (5) sur support transparent derrière ledit miroir et une face de couleur uniforme (6) derrière ledit texte, de sorte que, lorsqu'un utilisateur regarde au travers dudit orifice (4) et de ladite lentille (4A), il visualise le reflet résultant de ladite image (2) sur ladite lentille (4A) au moyen dudit miroir (3), se superposant audit texte (5) et à ladite face de couleur uniforme (6).
