    Abstract: Un verre ophtalmique comprend un substrat transparent (3) et des moyens électro-optiques (5) intégrés au substrat pour procurer une fonction optique en réponse à un stimulus électrique. La cellule photovoltaïque (6) peut être incorporée à un élément opaque occupant une petite partie de la surface du verre. Alternativement, la cellule photovoltaïque (6) peut être transparente et peut recouvrir au moins en partie la surface du verre.
