Abstract: A fuel boost pump assembly for an aircraft includes a first inlet for receiving a first pressurized fuel flow, a second inlet, an assembly outlet, a pump for transferring fuel between the second inlet and the assembly outlet, and a hydraulic motor adapted to drive the pump. The hydraulic motor is fluidly connected between the first inlet and the assembly outlet, and is mechanically coupled to the pump. Further, in use, the hydraulic motor converts hydraulic energy of the first pressurized fuel flow into driving energy of the pump such that the pump generates a second pressurized fuel flow between the second inlet and the assembly outlet.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an improved pilot valve assembly for a hydrant pit valve. The pilot valve assembly includes a poppet that is movable between an open position and a closed position. The poppet has a molded seal with an interlock feature to hold the seal rigidly. The pilot valve assembly also includes a manually reset mechanism. The reset mechanism can be horizontally positioned and can function to reset the pilot actuator for the next refueling operation. A lanyard can be connected to the poppet to be used a deactuation mechanism.

Abstract: A pilot valve assembly, for operating a pressure reducing valve disposed within a fuel tank, can include a housing including a first chamber and a second chamber, a first port in fluid communication with the first and second chambers, the first port being configured to receive an atmospheric pressure, a second port in fluid communication with the first and second chambers, the second port being configured to receive a fuel tank pressure, a first pilot valve arranged within the first chamber and configured to open only when a predetermined positive pressure differential exists between the first and second ports, and a second pilot valve arranged within the second chamber and configured to open only when a predetermined negative pressure differential exists between the first and second ports.
