Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw uncured preform for a post-treatment filter of exhaust gas, a method for manufacturing the same and a forming apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: The raw uncured preform 10 for the post-treatment filter of the exhaust gas includes the first and second sheets 12 and 14 of a regenerable filter medium and the second sheet forms not only pleats but also axially extended flow channels 32, 80 and 81 along with the first sheet. Each of the flow channels has a cross-sectional shape including two adjacent angles each of which is larger than 45° but smaller than 75°, has a thickness of below 0.8 mm and a prosity of above 80% and is formed from wall segments 18 and 20 having an extended part of below 10 mm between pleat tips.
