Abstract: A horizontal filter press is disclosed. Abstract: A system and method for refurbishing filter plate assemblies of an industrial horizontal filter press is disclosed. The system may comprise multiple stations and the method may comprise one or more process steps associated with each of the stations. A station may ready the plate assemblies, provide for checking the function of spray nozzles, provide for the removal of filter cloths and/or feed eye grommets, or provide for the washing of plates. A final station may be used for final assembly and inspection. A rework station may be provided to hold filter plate assemblies which are not suitable to return to service in the industrial horizontal filter press. Stations may perform single operations, or they may be equipped for performing multiple operations at once, without limitation.
