    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lean premix pressure combustor which prolongs the life time of the combustor and reduces complexity of maintenance and costs therefor. SOLUTION: A combustor dome module comprises a mixer tube, having a hollow heat shield sealingly joined around the outlet end thereof. The module can then be assembled in an array form for defining a combustor dome, with each module being individually removable therefrom.

The blade carrying means comprise dual, axially positioned rings and a plurality of generally cylindrical bearing journals supported between the rings. Each of the journals has a radially outer and inner edge and is adapted to support a single propulsor blade. The blade carrying means also comprise stiffening means, such as a bulkhead attached to the inner edge, for preventing distortion of the journal inner edge.
