Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC-DC converter which has high efficiency. SOLUTION: This DC-DC converter includes a main DC-DC conversion circuit 12 which converts DC bus-bar voltage Vd into DC output voltage Vo, and a front end conversion circuit 11 which adjusts the DC bus-bar voltage so that the DC output voltage may be adjusted. The front end conversion circuit 11 involves a controlled auxiliary voltage Vc which has an equal value in part of the output voltage Vo, and the DC bus-bar voltage Vd is introduced from input voltage Vin and the auxiliary voltage Vc. In one embodiment, it is introduced by making the auxiliary voltage recycle energy from the main conversion circuit. The main conversion circuit 12 involves at least one of potential transformers TX1, TX2 for combining the DC bus-bar voltage with the DC output voltage. An additional secondary winding N3 is formed at the potential transformer for introducing the auxiliary voltage. The additional secondary winding is close-coupled to a winding to which the potential transformer corresponds so as to proportionate the auxiliary voltage to the output voltage.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attenuate the high frequency noise by arranging capacitors alternately with the output buses of converters within the first plane, and lining up inductors with the capacitors and the output buses of the converters positioned among these inductors, within the second plane orthogonal to the first plane. SOLUTION: A power converter 12 receives power from an adjusting power source, and converts the adjusted input voltage into many output voltages small in ripple, low in noise, and precise in degree of adjustment. An output matrix filter 14 is utilized for each output of the power converter 12, and besides a local matrix filter 16 is utilized for the entry point near each load 18. For example, the power converter 13 has three outputs, and each output is coupled with its relevant output matrix filter 14, and the power is distributed to load 18 through a distribution bus 20 of low noise. Hereby, a low-noise power distribution system can be achieved.
