With respect to each of N-stage transmitting firings focused to a specified transmitting focal position, the time-delayed received signal is added by a receiving adder 44, and then supplied to a wall filter 46. A filtering is performed during N transmitting firings, and the envelop of the signal between firings is formed by a detector 32 followed by post processing, and the scanning line is displayed on a monitor.

Es werden ferner eine Vielzahl von Druckimpulssegmenten an eine oder mehrere Druckstellen abgegeben, wobei ein oder mehrere Parameter, die der Vielzahl von Druckimpulssegmenten entsprechen, angepasst werden, um mindestens eine Scherverschiebungswelle mit einer gewünschten Wellenform zu erzeugen. Zusätzlich können ein oder mehrere Lokalisierungsimpulse an die Vielzahl von Zielbereichen (102) abgegeben werden, um Verschiebungen von mindestens einer Teilmenge der Zielbereiche (102) in Abhängigkeit von der Zeit zu erfassen. Die Verschiebungen werden insbesondere als Zeitabtastwerte der Scherverschiebungswelle ermittelt. Anschließend wird eine Verschiebung zwischen der Scherverschiebungswelle, die in wenigstens zwei unterschiedlichen Zielbereichen (102) in der Teilmenge der Vielzahl von Zielbereichen (102) erfasst wurde, ermittelt.
