PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical-like products efficiently.SOLUTION: The invention relates to an apparatus for producing one or more pharmaceutical products that each has a carrier substrate and a dosage of active agent. The apparatus comprises: a dispensing system for dispensing the dosage of active agent onto each of the carrier substrates; and a dosage monitoring system for determining an amount of the dosage of active agent for each of the pharmaceutical product. Each of the carrier substrates moves continually along the apparatus as the dosage monitoring system determines an amount of the dosage of active agent.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for more effectively producing a pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical-like product.SOLUTION: There is provided the pharmaceutical product including an activator and a carrier substrate for carrying the activator while having the first concave part. In the pharmaceutical product, the activator is substantially arranged in the first concave part. Substantially, there is no presence of the absorption, wherein the activator is absorbed by the carrier substrate. The activator may be arranged in the film on the carrier substrate. The active agent may be enclosed in a polymer film on the carrier substrate. The activator may be composed of a plurality of activators formed in a plurality of films arranged in laminae on the carrier substrate.

The method has: a step of preparing a plurality of carrier substrates: a step of dispensing activators to be dispensed to each of the plurality of carrier substrates; a step of moving the plurality of carrier substrates in a certain direction; and a step of dispensing the activators to be dispensed to each of the plurality of carrier substrates, while keeping moving them in the direction. The step of dispensing the activators to be dispensed may be conducted under pressure. Moreover, the step may be conducted with a positive-displacement pump.

The method facilitates real-time monitoring of the amount of active material deposited onto the carrier substrate (1000) during the method.

The present disclosure provides a device for preventing the fouling of a liquid dispensing nozzle. The end of the dispensing nozzle is placed In a hollow interior of a band carrying the same solvents that are dispensed by the nozzle. The solvent on the band evaporates into a gap between the ring and the dispensing nozzle, thus providing a vapor sheath or environment that helps to prevent the fouling of the dispensing nozzle.
