    Abstract: A wearable device assembly (172) includes a device module (181) having a component housing (176) with a display configured to present information to the user, an auxiliary housing unit (177) remote from the component housing, and a connecting member (183) extending between the housing unit and the auxiliary housing unit. The device also includes a head retention structure (182) having a center support (174) with a nosepiece (175) extending therefrom, a first side arm (173B) extending from the center frame support on a first side thereof, and an attachment arm (173A) extending from the center support on a second side thereof. The device module and the head retention structure are configured for releasable assembly together by removably attaching a first attachment feature (193) on the connecting arm with the second attachment feature (194, 197) on the retention member. When assembled together, the device assembly is wearable on the head of the user.

    Abstract: A head-wearable device includes a center support extending in generally lateral directions, a first side arm extending from a first end of the center frame support and a second side arm extending from a second end of the center support. The device further includes an extension arm configured to present information to the user via a display element. The extension arm extends at least partially along the first side arm on a first side of the center support and further extends from the first side arm to a display end that supports the display element in a position on a second side of the center support. The extension arm has a joint therein configured for movement of the display element at least in a direction having a lateral component relative to the center support.
