Abstract: A head-worn electronic device (10) comprising a center frame (12, 20) to be worn on a user's head and supported on the user's nose, said center frame having a first end and a second end, a first arm having a first end coupled to the first end of the center frame, the first arm being positioned over the user's first temple with its free end disposed near the user's first ear, and a second arm having a second end coupled to the second end of the center frame, the second arm being positioned over the user's second temple with its free end disposed near the user's second ear, a camera (26) affixed to the center frame, and a pair of lens elements (110, 112) disposed within the center frame, the pair of lens elements being at least partially transparent to display images captured by the camera, and an input device (e.g. touch pad) (124) disposed on the center frame to receive an input (70) from the user, the input device containing electronic circuitry for controlling the camera, the input device providing tactile feedback to the user.

Abstract: An electronic device (10) including a frame (12) configured to be worn on the head of a user is disclosed. The frame (12) can include a bridge (20) configured to be supported on the nose of the user and a brow portion (30A) coupled to and extending away from the bridge (20) and configured to be positioned over a side of a brow of the user. The frame (12) can further include an arm (42A) coupled to the brow portion (30A) and extending to a free end (44). The first arm (42A) can be positionable over a temple of the user with the free (44) end disposed near an ear of the user. The device (10) can also include a transparent display (54) affixed to the frame (12) adjacent the brow portion (30A) and an input (70) affixed to the frame (12) and configured for receiving from the user an input associated with a function. Information related to the function can be presentable on the display ( 54 ).
