Abstract: A two (or more) piston pump system (10) is provided with both pumps (12) being crank (14) driven. The system does not have a mechanical camshaft, but a software algorithm, which acts like one in controller (20). The algorithm will LEARN and create a unique speed profile, which will mimic the mechanical camshaft. For practical purposes the speed profile of output gear is called Cam profile with software acting as an imaginary camshaft. The algorithm utilizes Crank Angle Estimation, Learn Curve Generation, Smoothing and Advance Timing Calculation.

Abstract: Sistema (10) de bomba de pistón que comprende: al menos dos bombas (12) reciprocantes accionadas por manivela (14), donde las manivelas para dichas bombas se encuentran excéntricas; y un motor (16) eléctrico para accionar dichas al menos dos bombas, caracterizado por comprender: un controlador para controlar la operación de dichas bombas causando que el motor (16) eléctrico accione las bombas (12) de acuerdo a un perfil de velocidad del motor que imita un árbol de levas mecánico, en donde el controlador está configurado para desarrollar el perfil de velocidad del motor: operando dicho sistema (10) de bomba a una velocidad constante y recogiendo la presión de salida en una selección de posiciones de ángulo de manivela; formando un perfil de presión a partir de dicha recogida de la presión de salida; invirtiendo dicho perfil de presión para formar un perfil de velocidad del motor que reducirá la variación de la presión; y repitiendo los pasos anteriores al menos una vez en un proceso iterativo hasta que la variación de la presión no exceda una cantidad predeterminada.
