Abstract:
The system comprises a covering surface (6) which prevents mixtures filling containers and silos from separating by preventing direct discharge of mixture above the emptying openings at the base or on the wall of the container (1). The size of the covering surface may be at least 25% and a maximum of 100% of the base surface area of the container. It may completely or partly connect to the wall or base surfaces, or not connect to them at all, such that the non-connecting surfaces which act as mixture outlet are at a distance from the wall or base, so as to prevent bridge formation.
Abstract:
The apparatus is used on site, for adding colourants in controlled proportions to water used in the preparation of coloured plaster. Also claimed is the process of adding colourants.
Abstract:
In a water jet pump priming system, a predetermined adjustable pressure head is created by provision of suitable fittings or changes in the outflow piping system. Preferably the pump is fitted with a membrane (6), which has a segmented face extending into the outflow system (8) and which can comprise any material, preferably a soft plastic material. The pump outflow system preferably has a constriction, more preferably in the form of a metal ring, or the pump outflow system has a syphon-like design designed to create an adjustable pressure head.
Abstract:
In a plant for colouring fluid media, a metering pump with an adjustable stroke is co-ordinated with e.g. water flow to a mixer, to which power supply is controlled accordingly. Fluid colour concentrate is extracted from its vessel by means of suction and pressure. The line carries it to an injection nozzle, where it enters the water flow under pressure. Also claimed is a process for reproducible colouration of the medium to make coloured mixtures, inks, mortar, etc..
Abstract:
The bulk dry solids are held in a silo are discharged through an outlet in the funnel-like base. The internal volume of the silo is sub-divided by a number of downward-directed panels arranged in a transposed herring-bone pattern, and secured to a central column. Each panel has a space between it and neighbouring panels, and a gap between its outer edge and the curved silo inner wall.
Abstract:
Mortar premix base formulation contains one or more binding materials, e.g., cement or lime, in proportions required for a particular application, together with a fixed quantity of fine additives of particle size 0-0.8 mm, advantageously 0-0.3 mm, prepared as a dry mixture. At the point of use, the necessary quantity of additional material and liquid is added to produce high quality mortar.
Abstract:
Equipment for building site fine plaster colouration comprises a mixer for mixing water with one or more colouring substances, a mixer for mixing a dry fine plaster mix with the coloured water and a control system for controlling the mixers to obtain a ready-to-use fine plaster mortar of predetermined colour. Also claimed is a process for building site fine plaster colouration to obtain a fine plaster mortar with body colour, in which water is continuously or discontinuously mixed with one or more colouring substances and then the coloured water is mixed with a dry fine plaster mix preferably having a basic colour which is imparted by its content of binders, aggregates, additives and added agents and which differ from its natural basic colour. The control system preferably has a dosing system for dosing the water and the colouring substances in a predetermined ratio and a feed pipe system for controlled supply of the required quantity of coloured water to the mortar mixer. The colouring substances may be in liquid, paste, powder and/or pourable form and may be pre-mixed before mixing with the water. Chemical additives, for improved and permanent dispersion of the colouring substances in water, and other mortar additives, may be added to the colouring substances.
Abstract:
Disclosed is fungicidal mixtures comprising, as active components, one fungicidal compound I selected from the group including kasugamycin, carpropamid, tricyclazole, and dicyclomet, and pyraclostrobin as compound II in synergistic effective amounts.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the use of specific fungicides for increasing the quality and optionally the quantity of oil-plant products and to the use of said fungicides for reducing the brittleness of the seed coats of seed-oil plants. The invention also relates to oil-plant products obtained from oil plants that have been treated with said fungicides, e.g. oil or seeds from treated oil plants. The invention further relates to regenerative fuels, which contain the oil according to the invention and/or the conversion products thereof. Finally the invention relates to a method for improving combustion in motors and combustion plants, according to which the motors and plants are at least partly operated by a suitable oil-plant product, produced according to the invention.
