    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron tube which is embodied in a small size and can be assembled easily. SOLUTION: An electron tube 1 is composed of a case 10, input face plate 21, stem 31, semiconductor element 40, and anode electrode 60. The case 10 contains a ring-shaped cathode electrode 11 located on the side with a photoelectric surface 22, a ring-shaped welding electrode 13 located on the side with the stem 31 with the external end secured to the stem 31, and a ring-shaped bulb 12 made of an electric insulating material located between the cathode electrode 11 and welding electrode 13 in such an arrangement that the three are layered concentrically, wherein the cathode electrode 11 forms an electron lens for casting electrons emitted from the photoelectric surface 22 onto the semiconductor element 40 in cooperation with the anode electrode 60, is made of a conductive material in a single piece structure, and connected with the input face plate 21 through a low melting point metal 23. The bulb 12 is structured so that its one end is fixed to the interior end face 11a of the cathode electrode 11, while other end is secured to the interior end face 13a of the welding electrode 13.

SOLUTION: An electronic tube concerned 1 is composed of a case 10, input face plate 21, stem 31, semiconductor element 40, and anode electrode 60. The case 10 contains a ring-shaped cathode electrode 11 located on the side with a photoelectric surface 22, a ring-shaped welding electrode 13 located on the side with the stem 31 with the external end secured to the stem 31, a ring-shaped bulb 12 made of an electric insulating material located between the cathode electrode 11 and welding electrode 13, and a ring-shaped middle electrode 90 with which the bulb 12 is divided into at least two segments and which is interposed between the segments in such an arrangement that the four component members are laminated concentrically, wherein the cathode electrode 11 forms an electron lens for casting electrons emitted from the photoelectric surface 22 onto the semiconductor element 40 in cooperation with the anode electrode 60, is made of a conductive material in a single piece structure, and connected with the input face plate 21 through a low melting point metal 23. the bulb 12 is structured so that its one end is fixed to the interior end face 11a of the cathode electrode 11 while other end is secured to the interior end face 13a of the welding electrode 13.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain such a structure that can stabilize the orbit of electron accelerated and focused by an electronic lens and effectively suppress the generation of noises due to discharging. SOLUTION: A cathode electrode 3 constituting an electronic lens extends partly toward a stem 10 along an inner wall 502 of an insulation container 5 and its tip end becomes thinner toward the stem 10, so that the tip end of the electrode 3 is apart from the inner wall 502 of the container 5. Thus, the container 5 is prevented from charging, and the discharging together with light emission to the electrode 3 and the container 5 can be suppressed.
