    Abstract: The invention relates to a polyurethane which can be produced by reacting at least two components A and B, where a) a polyisocyanate or a mixture of two or more polyisocyanates is used as component A and b) a polyol or a mixture of at least two or more polyols is used as component B. The invention is characterized in that component B contains a polyether having a molecular weight (Mn) of at least 4,000 and c) a polydispersity PD (Mw/Mn) of less than 1.5, or d) an OH functionality of between approximately 1.8 and approximately 2.0, or e) a polydispersity PD (Mw/Mn) of less than 1.5 and an OH functionality of between approximately 1.8 and approximately 2.0, or a mixture of two or more such polyethers. The invention also relates to preparations containing such polyurethanes.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a caulking gun (1) comprising a longitudinally extended receiving unit (2) for a cartridge (10) which is filled with the product to be discharged. The caulking gun also comprises a dosing unit (3) for the product to be discharged and has a handgrip (4) which, when in an operating position, extends outward in a crosswise or diagonal manner in relation to the longitudinally extended receiving unit (2). The handgrip (4) can move from the operating position in to an inoperative position in which the handgrip (4) is arranged essentially parallel to the longitudinally extended receiving unit (2). As a result, the caulking gun requires little space when not in use.

    Abstract: Described is a moisture-curing sealing and bonding compound made from completely synthetic polymers, the compound containing, to improve its non-sag properties, a triglyceride, either as the sole non-sag agent or in addition to prior art agents. The triglyceride should have a melting point over 40 deg C, preferably over 50 deg. C, and be derived from saturated fatty acids with 8 to 26 C-atoms. Even without using thixotropic agents, compounds can be obtained which do not sag at temperatures over 40 deg. C. Such joint sealants can be used to fill joints more than 35 mm wide without sagging.
