PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a siderail having a medical line manager integrated therein that can be configured to receive at least one medical line. SOLUTION: A siderail assembly comprises the siderail 24 and the medical line manager 44. The siderail includes a siderail body 32 having a first surface 36, a second surface, and a side surface 40 extending between about the first surface and about the second surface. The medical line manager is integrated into at least one of the first surface, the second surface, and the side surface of the siderail. The medical line manager includes a first side, a second side, and a bottom extending between about the first side and the second side. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human body person-supporting apparatus including a side rail equipped with an integrated storing region. SOLUTION: The human body-supporting apparatus 10 includes: a plurality of supports 14 connected to a lower frame 12; and an upper frame 16 supported on the supports 14 above the lower frame 12. The upper frame 16 includes a middle frame 20 and the side rail 24 connected to a deck 22 through a side rail-connecting portion 34. The side rail 24 is equipped with a side rail body 32 and has the integrated storing region 44 therein. The storing region 44 has a bottom face, at least one lateral face, and an opening part. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side-rail which includes a framework which a user can use to pull himself/herself up to return to a head-side of a bed. SOLUTION: A user-support body such as a bed includes an articulated deck which has an upper body part and a part adjacent to the upper body part in a longitudinal direction. The upper body part is pivotable to the adjacent part around an upper pivot shaft which extends in a transverse direction. The upper body part may be pivoted to angular positions between a nearly flat angular position and a maximum angular position. A side-rail 86 which is attached to the upper body part includes a grip 102 which is upward to the upper body part. The grip is held in a longitudinal direction between a side-rail posterior part 106 which is located behind the grip and a side-rail anterior part 110 which is located ahead of the grip. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a person, supported by a person support surface to exercise their core or trunk region, to correct instability caused by a system.SOLUTION: The person support surface 12 comprising an outer ticking layer 26 which envelopes an inner core region is mounted on at least a portion of a deck 44 of a person-support apparatus 10. The person support surface 12 has a head support section HP, a seat support section SP and a foot support section FP. An instability apparatus 14 is positioned in the head support section HP in one embodiment. The instability apparatus 14 includes at least one bladder filled with air.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mattress suitable for a hospital bed to assist turning-over of a patient. SOLUTION: A module type mattress 14 includes a bottom face cover part 2104 and an upper face cover part 2106. An accepting base 2108 comprises a foot part 2110 and a trunk part 2112 combined with the foot part 2110 by a foot part fixing base plate 2114. A foam body cover core material 2118 is supported on a mounting base plate 2116 and accepted in the base 2108. A turning-over assist air bag 2120 is accepted on the foam body core material 2118 and combined with the mounting base plate 2116. An upper air bag 2122 is accepted on the turning-over assist air bag 2120 and similarly combined with the mounting base plate 2116. The upper face cover part 2106 provides a patient support face, is combined with the bottom face cover part 2104, and thereby defines the outer part cover 2102, and accept other mattress parts.
