PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive suitable for structural materials including concrete, steel and fiber-reinforced polymers for construction applications. SOLUTION: The adhesive for structural materials for construction applications is provided, comprising: a resin component A including: a resin containing at least one norbornene group and curable by a peroxide, and a compound having at least one methacrylate group; and a curing agent component B including a peroxide and at least one thiol. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical two-component mortar material consisting of a resin component (A) improving adhesion to a surface of a partially cleaned and/or moist drilled hole and a curing agent (B).SOLUTION: The chemical two-component mortar material comprises the resin component (A) containing at least one radically curable ethylenically unsaturated compound (a) as a curable component, and the curing agent component (B) contained separately from the ethylenically unsaturated compound (a) so as to be prevented from reacting with it. The curing agent component (B) contains curing agents for resins in the resin component (A). The chemical two-component mortar material improving adhesion to the surface of a partially cleaned and/or moist hole drilled in a mineral substrate such as concrete comprises 0.2-10 mass% of at least one of a (meth)acryloxy alkyl siloxane and a poly(meth)acryloxy alkyl silsesquioxane as another component (b) of the resin component (A).

The present invention relates to a two-component adhesive composition suitable for structural bonding of concrete/concrete, steel/concrete, or steel/steel, as well as for structural strengthening and reinforcing applications with fiber reinforced polymers, comprising a resin component A, a resin curable with a peroxide containing at least one norbornene group and at least one methacrylate containing compound; and a hardener component B comprising a peroxide and at least one thiol; wherein the resin component A and the hardener component B are spatially separated from one another to inhibit any reaction before mixing of said components; the use of said adhesive composition for structural bonding of concrete/concrete, steel/concrete, or steel/steel, as well as for structural strengthening and reinforcing applications with fiber reinforced polymers; and relates also to the cured structural bonds obtained thereby.

The barrel (11) has a foil bag (12, 22) for components (16, 26, 27) of a multi-component mass arranged next to each other, where the components are stored separately from each other. Two supporting sections (32, 36) for ends (13, 23) of the foil bags are provided at a head part (31). The former foil bag includes one of the components (16) of the multi-component mass, and the latter foil bag includes other two components (26, 27) of the multi-component mass. The latter two components of the multi-component mass are provided in separate foil bag chambers of the latter foil bag.

Described is a composition containing a binder that is based on a compound having low-electron multiple carbon bonds and on a carbanion-forming compound. The claimed composition, which has a relatively high expansion rate, makes it possible to apply, in a simple and rapid manner, coatings that have the layer thickness required for the relevant fire-resistance rating, the layer thickness being reduced to a minimum while nevertheless achieving a good fire-proofing action. The claimed composition is particularly suitable for fire-proofing, especially as a coating for cables and cable runs, in order to increase the fire-resistance rating.

The invention relates to packaging for multi-component adhesives with: (I) a resin component which contains (a) at least one radically polymerizable compound, (b) at least one compound polymerizable by addition, (c) an accelerator, as necessary (d) an inhibitor and (e) a compound with two functional groups, of which one can (co)polymerize radically and the other by addition; and (II) a hardener component which contains (A) at least one hardening agent for addition polymerization and (B) at least one radical initiator. The packaging comprises a first section A1, which contains at least three individual components of the multi-component adhesive, and a second section A2, which contains at least two individual components of the multi-component adhesive. The individual components of the multi-component adhesive are distributed over the two sections A1 and A2 in such a manner that a reaction between the individual components is prevented and the adhesive will only harden once the individual components have been fully mixed. This makes stable storage of the components possible.
