Abstract: A process for the production of amines comprises reacting 2-20C olefins in one stage with an NH3 group-containing compound, hydrogen and carbon monoxide in presence of a catalyst which contains at least two Group VIII metals (free or bound) and is used as a solution or suspension in water.
