Abstract:
The invention relates to the use of a rhodium catalyst for inter- or intra-molecular hydroamination and/or inter- or intra-molecular oxidative amination of aryl-substituted olefins using primary or secondary amines, said rhodium catalyst containing a cationic rhodium compound of oxidation stage I or III. The invention also relates to a novel method for producing 2-aryl-substituted ethylene- and ethylamines.
Abstract:
A process for the production of amines comprises reacting 2-20C olefins in one stage with an NH3 group-containing compound, hydrogen and carbon monoxide in presence of a catalyst which contains at least two Group VIII metals (free or bound) and is used as a solution or suspension in water.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing phosphanes of the generic formula (I) Ar 3-xP(Ar (OZ)y)x, in which Ar and Ar independently of each other represent aromatic C6-20 radicals possibly substituted by halogen atoms, carboxyl groups, hydroxyl groups, alkyl C1-6 groups, phenyl groups or naphthyl groups, or represent heteroaromatic C4-9 radicals, whereby Ar has one free valence and Ar has y+1 free valences; Z is a carbohydrate radical with a glycosidic bond; x has a value of 1, 2 or 3; and y has a value of 1 or 2. According to said method, (1) carbohydrate halogenoses of the generic formula (II) Z'-X, in which Z' represents a radical Z as described above, in which the hydroxyl groups are substituted by protective groups and X represents Br, Cl or F, are reacted with a phosphane of the generic formula (III) Ar 3-xP(Ar (OH)y)x, in which Ar , Ar , x and y have the meaning given above, in a multiple-phase reaction medium in the presence of a base and a phase-transfer catalyst, to yield a phosphane of the generic formula (IV) Ar 3-xP(Ar (OZ')y)x, in which Ar , Ar , x, y and Z' have the meaning given above, and (2) the protective groups are separated from Z'.
