    Abstract: 1,2-Benzisoxazolyloxy acetic acids and derivatives of formula I[R = H, low alkyl, cycloalkyl; R1 = COOH, CHO, CN, 5-tetrazolyl; R2,R3,R4 = H, alkyl, halogen; R5,R6=H, low alkyl, A,A1=O or S were prepd. Thus 2.3 dichlorophenoxy acetic acid reacted with 2-fluorobenzoyl chloride to give 2.3 dichloro-4-(2-fluorobenzoyl)phenoxy acetic acid, which was converted to 2.3 dichloro-4-(2-fluorobenzohydroxymoyl)phenoxy acetic acid[II II was hydrolyzed to [7-chloro-3-(2-fluorophenyl -1,2-benzisoxazol-6-yl oxy acetic acid. The title compds. have diuretic, antihypertensive and uricosuric acitvity.
