Abstract: The magazine (1) has analytic consumable elements (2, 3) in a set of magazine chambers (2a-2i, 3a-3i). A data carrier (5) i.e. radio frequency identification-chip, is attached to the magazine, and information is stored in one of the magazine chambers (2g) that is not intended for removing the consumable elements due to production errors (4). A sampling device samples the analytic consumable elements from the magazine chambers, and a reader reads-out the data carrier that is fastened to the magazine. A controlling unit is connected to the reader. An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling a sampling device of a measuring system.
