Abstract:
There is provided an intraocular lens insertion device capable of more easily inserting an intraocular lens into an eye. An intraocular lens insertion device 1 comprises a main body 2, an operation portion 5 and a cartridge 4 attached to the main body 2. The operation portion 5 has a plunger 6 integrally provided thereon and serving as a transmitting member, and a rod 7 provided on a distal end of the plunger 6 and serving to push out the intraocular lens. The intraocular lens insertion device 1 further comprises a restraint portion 10, and thus allows the rod 7 to first push an intraocular lens 8 by a predetermined distance and then be temporarily stopped before the intraocular lens 8 is released from the cartridge 4 toward the outside.
Abstract:
A soft intraocular lens is provided, with IRHD hardness thereof being 40 to 60, wherein distance L is in a range of 3.75mm - 4.50mm, which is a distance from an optical central axis of the optical part to a reference point of a supporting part side edge of the transition part, and an angle ¸ is in a range of 35° - 50°, which is formed by a surface including the optical central axis and a reference point of the supporting part side edge of the transition part, and a surface including the optical central axis and in contact with a tip of the supporting part, with a width of the transition part being larger than a width of the supporting part, and a width Wm of the transition part in a middle of the optical part side edge and the supporting part side edge of the transition part being 1.5 times to 3 times of a width Ws of the supporting part.
Abstract:
There is provided a therapeutic instrument, for storing a sheet-type therapeutic substance to which a liquid is delivered, and delivering the stored therapeutic substance to an affected part, including: a nozzle member 23 having an opening 34 on a tip end of a tubular part 31 in which the therapeutic substance can be stored, for charging and discharging the therapeutic substance; and a syringe unit 22 that selectively causes a negative pressure and a positive pressure to act in the tubular part 31 through a hole of a valve member 27, wherein the space 33 of the tubular part 31 is the space for sucking the therapeutic substance into the tubular part 31 together with the liquid by causing the negative pressure in the tubular part 31 by the syringe unit 22 when the therapeutic substance is stored therein, and is the space for pushing out the therapeutic substance to outside of the tubular part 31 together with the liquid by causing the positive pressure to act in the tubular part 31 by the syringe unit 22 when the stored therapeutic substance is delivered to the affected part.
Abstract:
An intraocular lens of the present invention has a substantially circular or elliptical optical lens portion made of a soft material, and an arm-shaped support arm portion attached to outer peripheral edges of this optical lens portion, and out of the peripheral edges of the optical lens portion that are contiguous to both sides in a width direction of a root of the support arm portion, at least one outer peripheral edge has a portion recessed inward from the convex curve. Thus, there is provided a soft intraocular lens that can be inserted into an eye from a further smaller incision, without damaging an optical function as much as possible.
Abstract:
An intraocular lens insertion device for more easily inserting an intraocular lens into the eye. The intraocular lens insertion device (1) includes a main body (2), an operational portion (3) provided on an end (2a) of the main body (2), a knock mechanism (4) for moving the operational portion (3) forward and backward with respect to the main body (2), and a cartridge (5) attached to the other end (2b) of the main body (2) and serving as an insertion tube. The device is constructed, as a whole, such that the knock mechanism (4) moves the operational portion (3) repeatedly forward and backward so that an intraocular lens (6) placed in the cartridge (5) can be pushed out stepwise. The knock mechanism (4) is structured so as to move the operational portion (3) pushed forward toward a backward direction and automatically return it to an original position prior to the same being pushed forward.
Abstract:
An intraocular lens insertion device and a cartridge which enable the intraocular lens to be inserted into an eye more stably and easily than ever before. A supporting portion 102 of an intraocular lens 100 arranged on a lens-advancing side in a lens-advancing direction x is pressed against a protrusion 21 so as to be bent backward. Thus, releasing the intraocular lens 100 from a nozzle portion 13 is allowed to begin with the releasing of a curved portion of the supporting portion 102 that has become U-shaped and hard to move freely. As a result, there can be provided an intraocular lens insertion device and a cartridge which enable the intraocular lens 100 to be inserted into an eye more steadily and easily than ever before.
Abstract:
Provided is an intraocular lens insertion device capable of omitting a repeated operation after the intraocular lens is inserted into the eye. The intraocular lens insertion device (1) comprises a lens setting part (11) for mounting an intraocular lens (5) having an optic (6) and one or two or more supporting portions (7a and 7b) disposed at the outer edge of the optic (6), a plunger (4) for pushing out the intraocular lens (5) mounted in the lens setting part (11), and a nozzle (13) for releasing the intraocular lens (5) pushed out by the plunger (4). This plunger (4) includes a lens contact portion (32) for abutting against the outer edge of the optic (6), and a pushing portion (33) for pushing out the supporting portion (7b) arranged in the backward direction of a lens advancing axis (A).
