    Abstract: PURPOSE: To shorten the boring route designing by displaying the arrangement of holes arranged along a route and the order of boring by binary vectors, respectively, and conforming all the binary vectors by a regular transformation matrix to determine the order of boring. CONSTITUTION: The format information of boring created by an engineering design system 1 is supplied to a boring order determination system 2, and the information of boring order is transmitted to a boring machine 3, whereby a printed wiring board is bored. At this time, it is checked whether all holes are connected to other holes or not in the boring order determination system 2, the order of boring of the holes within the corresponding section is determined every connecting section when the connection of holes is judged, and the entire order is then determined. In the determination of the order within the connecting section, the order of boring is expressed by binary with the hole on one end as the first hole and the hole on the other end as the N-th hole, and conformed by a regular transformation matrix to determine the order of boring.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To simplify user's instruction operation and to easily find desired data by displaying representative data and designating a retrieval range by a user. CONSTITUTION: A scroll bar display 21 is used to set an initial frame retrieval range by the user. In a window display are Q, a predetermined number (e.g. 10) of reduced frames 23, i.e., representative frames, and a start-point icon 22A and an end-position 22B are displayed. All data to be retrieved are divided into 10 and the frames positioned at the division positions are read out of a file storage device and reduced with the indication of a CPU for a frame 23. Each frame 23 indicates a division position in the currently set retrieval range, so the icon 22A and 22B and representative frames are selectively used for the range specification of retrieval. Then the user reduces the retrieval range by using a representative screen on a display screen and can retrieve a desired frame.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve operability by calculating the position of center of the pupil by performing image processing to data from a camera, increasing the lightness of a concerned point estimated from that value and data for correction on a screen, measuring and correlating the change of a pupil area at that time. CONSTITUTION: A display device 1 is a device for displaying characters or the like on the screen, and a camera part 2 samples the video data of image of an eye from the video camera. A pupil center position calculation part 3 calculates the position of center of the pupil of a user by performing image processing to the video data from the camera part 2. A pupil area measuring part 4 calculates the area of the pupil by performing image processing to the video data from the camera part 2, and an estimation part 5 calculates the concerned point on the screen from the calculated position of center of the pupil and these data for correction. Then, the data for correction required for the following estimation of a glance are stored from the calculated position of center of the pupil and data provided by the change of lightness. Then, a brightness control part 6 changes the brightness at the position of the estimated concerned point on the screen.
